Jacksonville Leadership
Allen Skipper is the regional vice president of market operations for Peak 10 and the general manager for the Jacksonville operations. He has extensive experience in the managed hosting arena, with over 13 years of sales management experience in the IT sector. Skipper is responsible for overseeing the facilities, financial and sales management operations of Peak 10 Jacksonville, as well as creating streamlined programs to manage Peak 10’s growth in the market. Mr. Skipper joined Peak 10 in April 2001 after serving as vice president of sales and marketing for LynkUs Communications, a provider of wireless application development services. Skipper also spent eight years in various management positions with Metrocall, a nationwide provider of wireless services. At Metrocall, Mr. Skipper was responsible for sales and financial management, new market expansion and acquisition integration throughout the southeast. Under Skipper’s leadership, Peak 10 Jacksonville has grown to over 170 active clients, increased revenue by 300 percent and successfully expanded the sales of Peak 10’s managed security and data center services. Skipper is a graduate of Florida State University’s College of Business, is active in the community and serves on the Toyota Gator Bowl Committee and Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Andrew Mametz brings over eight years of information technology experience to the Peak 10 Jacksonville market. Mr. Mametz is primarily responsible for the daily operations of the data center facility. In conjunction with his staff, Mr. Mametz is devoted to local delivery of Peak 10 services. Prior to Peak 10, Mr. Mametz was a lead engineer for the Cisco Technical Assistance Center with a focus on Cisco’s full line of security products. He has extensive hands on experience with network design, analysis, implementation and troubleshooting. He holds certifications in Microsoft (MCSE) and Cisco (CCNP). In addition to that, he has applicable knowledge of various other hardware and operating systems such as: Netscreen, Array, Linux, Dell, HP, and Adtran. Mr. Mametz earned his B.S. in Communications from the State University of New York College at Oneonta. He has been with Peak 10 since November 2002.
